I am Sarah Williamson,
I was born and raised here in Colorado, and while I might have the tendencies of an indoor cat, my love for Colorado is as vast as the Rockies. I'm a proud mama to four amazing kiddos, and lucky enough to have a super supportive partner in this wild birth-worker life! When I'm not knee-deep in parenting duties, attending births, or mastering the art of the carpool pick-up line, you'll likely find me buried in a good book.
Beyond the chaos of daily life, I love crocheting and am a bit of a music junky (currently obsessed with Sleep Token). I am also a drink enthusiast. If you spot me around town, I'll probably have an armful of various drinks – my coffee of choice is any iced coffee drink with a generous dash of hazelnut. When I am not looking for the help of caffeine, I love a dirty martini or old-fashioned.
My journey into the magical world of birth began when my best friend and I were both pregnant for the first time. What started as a fascination quickly evolved into a deeper calling. I've been unofficially doula-ing for friends and family for years, and that passion led me to become a doula in a more official capacity. This work holds a big piece of my heart, and I pour my entire being into ensuring the best birth experience for those in my care.
But that's not all! I'm currently on the exciting path to becoming a Certified Professional Midwife, studying at The Midwives College of Utah. My philosophy on birth is simple – trust the wisdom of the body, and you'll find yourself on a journey to an empowered birth. Your pregnancy and birth are the beginning of your parenting origin story, and feeling empowered in your choices is essential.
As your doula, I'm here to support YOUR birth experience, not impose my own ideas. Whether you're welcoming your first bundle of joy or you're a seasoned parent, a single parent, on a surrogacy journey, part of a neurodiverse family, a LGBTQIA+ family, a BIPOC family, from any background or religious belief community, your story matters deeply to me. You are seen, and valued, and it would be my absolute honor to stand by your side and show you just how strong and capable you truly are.
